Polaris Fashion Place® and The Royce Team Up to Offer Private Igloo-Style Dining Experience
The Winter Park at Polaris Fashion Place provides guests with a safe, innovative way to dine
Columbus, OH (December 17, 2020) – Polaris Fashion Place® presents an all-new, safe way to dine with your inner circle, perfect for a one-of-a-kind winter experience: Winter Park will feature nine heated igloo-style pods for outdoor dining, brought to guests in partnership with The Royce gastropub.
To celebrate the grand opening of Winter Park on Friday December 18, The Royce will host live holiday music and free hot chocolate for all guests from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. The hot chocolate will be served from the new Cocoa Chalet, a walkup hot chocolate bar located just outside of The Royce patio area. Winter Park is located directly outside of The Royce, where the Splash Pad is located during the summer months.
Each heated ‘igloo’ is styled with comfortable seating, rustic décor and ambient lighting to provide the ultimate winter outdoor dining experience. The igloos can seat a private party of 2 to 6 of guests. Outside of the igloos, guests can keep warm around the Winter Park firepit and central seating area.

A polished gastropub and family-owned restaurant, The Royce offers a globally inspired, locally sourced menu. Culinary delights such as seabass with chamomile yogurt are among some of the elevated fare. Cocktails at The Royce are classically inspired with stately twists and “Royce originals.” The Royce will offer their full food and drink menu to guests dining inside the Winter Park igloos.
“Our new Winter Park igloo dining option is an exciting offering for guests who are more comfortable dining outdoors or who want a more private experience,” said Walter Carpenter, owner of The Royce. “Now, guests can try all of the delicious food and soak in the ambiance that The Royce has to offer within their own ‘bubble.’ We’re so excited to bring this winter wonderland to life and we can’t wait to see everyone this winter!”
Prior to 4 p.m., igloos will be available on a first come first serve basis without a minimum purchase. After 4 p.m., parties of 2-4 can reserve 90 minutes time slots with a minimum $150 purchase. Parties of 5-6 can reserve for a minimum $200 purchase. There will be a 15 minute time frame in between parties to allow for a full cleaning prior to the next reservation.
