Polaris Fashion Place® and CbusShops Partner to Offer Free, Same-Day Delivery
CbusShops, founded by a local entrepreneur and student, features convenient delivery from hundreds of Polaris Fashion Place® retailers
Columbus, OH (September 15, 2020) – Polaris Fashion Place® is proud to announce a partnership with local retail delivery startup, CbusShops. CbusShops, founded by local entrepreneur and college student Jack Hendrix, allows customers to shop their favorite Polaris Fashion Place retailers from the comfort of their home, while enjoying same-day delivery. As part of the new partnership, CbusShops will offer free delivery for the month of September. As of 9/30/2020, the free delivery offer has been extended for the month of October!
CbusShops offers remote shopping opportunities for hundreds of the town center’s diverse options including lululemon, Aerie, Barnes & Noble, Field and Stream, Hollister Co., Von Maur and more. Customers simply place a “buy online, pick up in store” order on the retailer’s website and upload their proof of purchase to the CbusShops website. From there, the CbusShops delivery team picks up the item in the physical store at Polaris Fashion Place and hand delivers the purchases to the customer the same day. Polaris Fashion Place is the only town center in Central Ohio that offers this unique service.

They have been great to work with and I believe in the impact that the town center has on our community.”
Hendrix is a local entrepreneur and a senior at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He also is a part-time employee at lululemon’s Polaris Fashion Place location, which is where his idea for CbusShops was born.
Hendrix launched the platform in June and has steadily built a growing customer base. Recent customers have enjoyed the simplicity and savings on shipping fees with one customer writing, “I was so impressed with this service! I still can’t believe how easy it was to place and receive my order! I had been wanting something from a store in the mall for a while but really did not want to go in and I didn’t want to have it shipped because of the shipping charges. I had my order within a few hours and didn’t have to leave my house!”
The partnership with CbusShops is an expansion of Polaris Fashion Place’s Retail To-Go initiative. As a way to safely welcome back guests during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the town center created the convenient curbside pickup program available from participating retailers.
“Our partnership with CbusShops allows guests to shop in the way that they are most comfortable without sacrificing the convenience or variety of Polaris Fashion Place’s offerings,” said Tamra Bower, general manager at Polaris Fashion Place. “We are proud to offer this convenient and innovative alternative shopping experience for our guests.”
Polaris Fashion Place® remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In the continued need to address COVID-19, the town center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct.

Polaris Fashion Place’s already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will also continue many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly-trafficked areas and walkways for public use.
